We're so glad you're here!
We understand that it can be a little intimidating visiting a church for the first time. Upon visiting, you will receive a warm welcome by our church family. Our hope is that you will experience spiritually-inspiring music, helpful teaching & preaching from the Bible and an atmosphere where you feel "at home."
What Should I Expect?
Attire
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There isn't a dress code at Calvary. It is more important that you come and hear the Word of God than to worry about a dress code. You will find some in the church that will wear a traditional "Sunday Best" for the services. Our desire is for you to come as you are but not to stay as you are. God's Word is powerful!
Giving
AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY?
We at Calvary give through the tithe and offerings but we do not expect you to give unless the Lord prompts you to do so. Please note, giving as visitors is not requested or required, we just are blessed you are here!
Services
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?
Our music is traditional and conservative, and many of the songs we sing are the old hymns that have been carried down through the years. The main focus of our services is the preaching of God's word. Our pastor or a special speaker will bring a message each week that deals with all problems in life. We desire to worship our Great Savior in music as we sing a few congregational songs. There may be a song, choir, or music special designed to prepare your heart for the message you will receive.
Classes
ARE THERE CLASSES FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN?
YES, Absolutely. We have an adult Sunday School class in the auditorium with the pastor, and a children Sunday School class that are age appropriate.
Nursery
IS THERE A NURSURY FOR MY INFANT?
Yes, we have a nursery you can leave your baby or young toddler in, if you feel so inclined. There is also a feeding and changing room available.
